Apple & Pork
Yesterday we all went to the Apple and Pork festival. It was Lila's first time going and she had a lot of fun. Ian and Chris just wanted to eat as much food as possible!

Football Season!
It's my favorite time of year--football season! On Saturday we tailgated before the first Illini home game. It was perfect weather and an unusually great game time.

This is Fun
HomeGoods has a quiz on their website that determines your decorating style and then gives you decorating and entertaining tips. It was pretty right on for me--it said I like things organized and three of the six "happy colors" it picked for me were shades of red!
I thought I'd share, it only takes a couple of minutes.

End of Summer
Today was the last day of the pool season and we decided to take advantage of it.
After going off of the diving board, Ian hung out on the lounge chair like this until his friend/girlfriend Lucy showed up. Then he was all about swimming! I was going to take some stealth paparazzi-like pictures of them, but they ended up spending most of their time on the high dive and the water slide. A hugely pregnant woman is not really inconspicuous in the high dive/water slide pool so I decided not to embarrass him.

Friday Fun
Last night we took the kids back to 2 Toots for dinner. Chris rode the train home from work and Lila, Ian, and I joined him on his train to ride the three extra stops.
Lila loved running up and down the train platform. She fell down and bumped her head right after this, but that didn't stop her from running some more.
Riding the train.
Riding the train.
As if the train that brings you food and the cupcakes with train whistles on them weren't enough, the restaurant also has a mechanical horse. Lila loved it!
