This weekend Mom and Dad came up to watch the kids so I could go to the Hearts at Home conference on Saturday.  We had beautiful weather so they spent a lot of time outside.

Dad and Cara going for a walk.

Lila climbed to the top by herself!

St. Patrick's Day shirts, even though it's warm enough to be Memorial Day.

At the conference Michelle Duggar was one of the keynote speakers.  I love her and watch the Duggar family's show every week.  I stood in line for two hours, but it was worth every second!  She signed both of my books, I got to give her a hug and we got a picture!!

Ian's Art Show

The District Art Show was on Friday afternoon at the local art museum.  Timing worked out perfectly that Mom and Dad were coming up anyway, so we all got to go see Ian's work on display.  We were very impressed and proud! We also noticed that Ian's work was one of the few that was done on his own, not as part of an art class assignment.  Way to go Ian!

Weekend with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie

Last weekend when the kids were with Chris they had a visit from Gary, Sue and Erin.  Saturday was the big St Patrick's Day parade.  It was beautiful weather and it looks like they had a lot of fun.

They also got to go to Gary, Sue and Erin's hotel and swim in the pool!  They were very excited to show off their swimming skills!

Not sure what this is about, but it cracks me up.

I'm So Proud!

We have had big things happening at our house recently!

Two weeks ago Cara started floating by herself!  She is so proud of herself when she does it and I think she will get her ribbon for floating 10 seconds by herself very soon!

Ian found out last week that some of his artwork was selected to be in the school district's exhibit at the local art museum.  There is a reception next week where we will get a chance to see his work on display!
